In a world where singles often feel like mere placeholders before the next release, “I Never Thought” featuring Kenton Lee stands out as a remarkable exception. Da Gifto embraces a relaxing, unhurried rhythm, allowing it to guide the entirety of the track without rushing to create an impactful moment right away. This deliberate pacing cultivates a sense of patience that may be overlooked during an initial, distracted listen, inviting deeper engagement.

The synergy between the vocals and instrumentation is strikingly harmonious, with each element skillfully creating space for the other rather than vying for dominance in the soundscape.
