In a world where new singles often feel like mere placeholders until the next big release, “Old Skool Funk,” featuring the talents of Ivy Beatz, Dj Mremz, and G Master, stands apart. Kota Embassy embraces a laid-back, leisurely groove that permeates the entire track, opting for a calm buildup rather than rushing for an early climax. This choice infuses the song with a sense of patience that can easily be overlooked during a casual first listen.
The synergy between the vocals and instrumentation is striking, as each element carves its own niche in the soundscape instead of vying for dominance.
