Mthwalo – Uzele Amawele

• • Artist: Mthwalo
  • Title: Uzele Amawele
  • Duration: 03:41
  • Year: 2026

New territory can go badly wrong for an artist with an established sound, but “Uzele Amawele” manages the shift carefully rather than forcing it. Mthwalo steps into slightly different ground here while still keeping enough of that familiar sound intact to feel right at home for longtime listeners.

The vocals carry a good deal of the track’s character throughout, with the instrumental staying supportive rather than trying to overpower the performance. It’s an easy record to sit with from start to finish, one that doesn’t demand much attention but rewards it when given.
