Closing out a run of releases with something forgettable is an easy trap to fall into, but “Amalobolo“, bringing along Aubrey Seapose, avoids it comfortably. Shino Kikai & Amahle Gasa leans into a warm, familiar groove here almost immediately, closing things out on a note that feels earned rather than rushed together at the last minute.
The vocal performance stays consistent throughout, supported by an instrumental that knows exactly when to hold back and let it lead. It’s a well-balanced, easy listen from start to finish, a track that closes a run of releases without feeling like an afterthought.
Take “Amalobolo” for a listen below or download it to keep for later whenever it’s convenient. A fitting addition to any playlist looking for something steady, and a solid note to end on before the next release comes around.
